October 16, 2026 — COVID citation audit

An audit conducted on October 15 identified serious citation errors in our COVID research pages: citations that did not resolve, citations linked to different papers, and citations of a retracted paper. Our earlier description overstated the checks completed on these pages. These AI-assisted summaries have not been reviewed by a clinician.

Some editorial summaries are available again after automated review; other summaries remain withheld. The COVID specialty pages and hubs carry an audit notice. Findings and bibliography entries may still contain errors; the citation repair and source review are not complete. We will record completed withdrawals and corrections here. Page update dates and download hashes do not establish that a citation or finding has been verified.
