Scope and intent

ModernDoc publishes educational summaries, not diagnoses or treatment plans. We choose topics where a sourced, plain-language explanation can help a reader understand the evidence and know when professional care may be needed.

Source selection

The generation pipeline works from a numbered source dossier. It gives priority to primary research, systematic reviews, public-health bodies, regulators, and established medical references. A citation may support only the claim immediately associated with it; the writer may not invent a source or cite material outside the supplied dossier.

Drafting and automated checks

AI may draft and revise an article. Before an article can receive an indexing release, automated gates check safety, claim-to-source support, citation quality, accuracy, readability, structure, uniqueness, and presentation. A failed or uncertain gate leaves the candidate unpublished or non-indexable. Passing automated checks is not the same as clinician review.

Publication and freshness

Publication is recorded against the exact content revision. The public page must expose the expected title, source list, review label, and indexing state before a release is treated as live. Research monitors identify their update time and link to their source material.

Human medical review

A named reviewer appears only after reviewing the exact content shown. Material changes invalidate the old review until the new revision is reviewed. Read the full medical review policy.

Errors and corrections

Readers can report a possible error. We triage safety issues first, preserve an auditable revision history in our publishing systems, and update or remove material that no longer meets the standard. See the corrections process.

Limitations

Automated checks reduce risk but cannot guarantee completeness or correctness. Medical evidence changes, and individual circumstances differ. Use the linked sources and consult a qualified professional for personal decisions.
