ModernDoc personal trends

Your wearable is a timeline, not a lifespan.

See whether your latest HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, exercise, and steps differ from your own recent baseline—with every method, missing day, and limitation visible.

Your data

See what changed—not a made-up score.

Compare your latest 7 days with the prior 28 days. Raw health data stays in this browser tab and is discarded when you clear it or close the tab.

Local-only analysis

On iPhone: Health → profile picture → Export All Health Data, unzip the archive, then choose export.xml. Nothing is uploaded.

Method

A transparent within-person comparison

For each signal, ModernDoc compares the median of the latest 7 calendar days with the median and 10th–90th percentile range of the non-overlapping prior 28 days. A result needs at least 5 recent days and 21 baseline days. Missing days are never filled in. Different source, device, or HRV-method channels are never silently combined.

How each day is built

HRV and resting heart rate
Daily median. Apple Health HRV is explicitly SDNN in milliseconds; it is not relabeled as another HRV method.
Sleep
The union of Apple asleep intervals, assigned to the local wake date. Overlapping stage intervals are not double-counted. Consumer sleep stages are not interpreted diagnostically.
Exercise and steps
Separate daily sums. Minutes and steps are never blended into a weighted score.

What this deliberately does not calculate

  • • No death date, lifespan, biological age, “years gained,” or disease probability.
  • • No hand-weighted resilience, recovery, readiness, or shift-probability score.
  • • No comparison to population “normal” ranges or diagnosis from a wearable.
  • • No imputation, hidden smoothing, cross-device conversion, or direction labeled “good.”

Privacy and control

Imports are parsed in your browser. Raw records are not sent to ModernDoc, written to local storage, placed in cookies, or included in analytics. “Clear data” deletes the in-memory copy immediately; closing or refreshing the tab does the same. Export creates a result summary on your device and excludes raw records.

Bring the pattern, not just a score

Want help interpreting a persistent change?

ModernDoc can help you prepare focused questions for a qualified clinician. It cannot diagnose a change from wearable data.
