Physically inactive adults with moderate-to-severe uncontrolled asthma were randomized to treadmill training or a behavioral program to increase daily activity. Both groups showed clinically meaningful improvements in asthma control and quality of life, maintained at four-month follow-up. Because two active programs were compared, these changes do not establish benefit over receiving no program.
